My friend is looking into buying a 2014 Dodge Charger R/T with 60,000 miles on it for 22k. I know dodges can be iffy in the reliability department so what do all of you think?
22k
That is wayyy too much for an 8 year old dodge, I wouldnt pay half that tbh.
Automagic or manual transmission?
I'd keep searching, camaros and mustangs (with the V8) are better built if your friends into American muscle.
It’s an automatic. I’ll let him know to keep looking 😂
On the topic, I know some mustangs (around 2013) have issues with their 6 speed manuals, and the 5.0s can become oil burners quickly. Have your friend bring any car, especially a muscle car to a mechanic, bc it was probably driven hard already. And definitely get a manual. Theyre still more reliable, and the driving experience is 10x better once you get the hang of it. I spent alittle over 30k for a new WRX that I could hardly get off the lot, but now I absolutely love having a speed in my daily.

No, pass on it, especially out of the OEM warranty.
The price is high. Used car prices are still high in general. If your friend can wait and keep on looking at the same time hopefully they'll find a better realistic deal.
