Good morning. I am from uk and i have a ford focus 2016 1.5 tdci . The problem with it is when i drive on motorway or highway and i reach 80 mph the engine looses power and the water temp goes over 100 Celsius. What can i do to fix it ?? Thank you 🥰🥰
Check the water pump. Also, pressure test the fuel line.

Check level of coolant?
Level of coolant is fine and i checked the water pump and the fuel pressure and is also fine . I am out of ideas 😔
Do the radiator fans turn on?
Have a friend help you take a look as you rev. 3-4k should be sufficient. Make sure you hear the thermostat click. Take a look at the fans too to see if they come on. If your car heats up and stays red hot in idle then you can continue down the diagnosis line from here.
