Overheating town and country 2010

Hi Scotty. I have a 2010 town and country 3.8 engine. One day I was just driving along on my way home from work and my vehicle started overheating. I got out and checked to see if there was any coolant leaks but none were found. What could it be?

What could it be?

Many things can cause overheating, from a stuck thermostat to a blown head gasket. See the troubleshooting section of the FAQ.

Is there anything else I should check or should I just keep up on the antifreeze?

If you want a shot at keeping that thing running you had best find out where the coolant is going.

I added coolant to the radiator now the minivan has stopped overheating for now. I am still concerned about the thermostat and the head gasket. Is there anything else I should check or should I just keep up on the antifreeze?
