Hey Scotty I have a 2008 Volkswagen Touareg with the 3.6 vr6 it has roughly 145k miles and the other day it through a p000b code I looked it up it said timing is over advanced and will cost 4K to fix I also just spent 3k for a new ecu and also payed 4K for the car. Is it worth the fix or not. I’m looking at 2005 to 2011 Tahoe’s with around the same miles as well would that be a good choice either way next vehicle will be a Chevy but older year models

Not imo.  Why Chevy?

@hillbilly
I always look over the cars before I buy them and I’ve been a Chevy fan my entire life and have had nothing but good things to say maybe not the ones from 2014 and up. And just about all there suv and trucks are reliable in my honest opinion

I would think twice before buying those Chevy.

@yaser
I have. I’ve done research to make sure I’m not buying a POS asked other what they think and most have nothing but good things and I know the 5.3 v8s are very reliable from my own experience of having family with Chevy. I know that keeping the Touareg is not the best idea but I would like to hear from other people and what the P000B code is
