Hello dear Scotty, I am a big fan. My 6 cylinder Toyota Aurion 2011 (2GFR engine) constantly shows error code P0031. I have changed the oxygen sensor with OEM Toyota parts; however, I cannot get rid of the code. What should I do? Thanks

Check continuity of the heater on the new O2 sensor, it could be defective. If that's OK it becomes a matter of tracing the circuit from the sensor to see where the fault lies. Lots of info out there on O2 sensor problems, for example...

The heater circuit on the 02 sensor has burnt out.  Replace 02 sensor.  Make sure to check all connections and wiring first, especially around exhaust manifolds.

The new sensor might be faulty. Try another one.
