Transmission Friction Element "B" Stuck On.

On a 2018 ford focus. Any idea how I should go about repairs or And my better off taking it to a transmission shop over a 4 dealership mechanic shop?

Keep in mind though I got my car pulled out of the mud by triple-a and they hooked my tire rod and bent it . So it was just recently in the shop only but a couple of days ago. C0051 was a code I got on that. Not sure if there's a connection with the two Incidents, but I thought I'd just share that.

The "PowerShift" automatic transmissions used in those cars have some serious inherent problems that wound up costing Ford millions of dollars in a class action lawsuit.

Here's one possible solution for P97A5, but if that doesn't work out probably the best course of action will be to take your car to a transmission expert to see about having it repaired. Once the car is working reasonably well you might consider getting rid of it to avoid further transmission problems.
