Our new-to-us 2008 GMC Yukon XL Denali with 233,900 miles has a P0989-00 code from the 6L80 transmission. We've put about 1,000 miles on it and it shifts just fine. Anything to worry about?

Well, I wouldn't worry about it for now. If it shifts fine, they can often get glitches and electronics and trip codes like that. But realize that is the weak point of that vehicle. The transmission they generally go out 120 to 140,000, mi
