I just changed the oil on my girlfriend's 2008 Honda CR-V. P2646 everything sounds okay, I just changed the oil with full synthetic and a filter. She is unsure if it was ever changed with synthetic (per requirements) it has about 160k miles. However, we're unsure if it was ever changed with the correct weight oil.
What can we do to remedy this? She doesn't have a lot of money.

Probably the result of extremely dirty or the wrong weight oil.

This car has a history of burning oil, just an FYI.
