Hey Scotty, I got a 2013 Audi A6 (yes, I am aware of your opinion on Audis) with about 98k miles. Automatic transmission, 3.0T V6, supercharged, and AWD drivetrain. I’ve been recently getting a check engine light and I ran a scan and it gave me a message saying” Transmission Fluid cooler Control circuit/open”. The code is P2753. I asked around and no one seems to pinpoint exactly what the problem is unless they take a look at the transmission which apparently is pricey. What could possibly be the issue here and is there something I should focus on with the way it drives? It drives fine and I haven’t noticed any differences but I want to know what it could be. Thanks.
Well really if it drives fine I'd ignore it too and just keep driving it. Those things are endless money pits and the only way anybody's going to be able to figure it out is to have an Audi dealer level scan tool and years of experience and doing bidirectional testing. And most of those guys are crooked as can be. They're not going to give you an honest opinion. Let's say it's some kind of soul and I'd going bad or something. They'll just try to sell you a whole transmission
