2010 rav4 sport 3.5. I have heard to pair up my akebono pads with zimmerman rotors [ maybe zink coated ] on the rear. Would like to hear if this sound good, definetly sticking with akebono pads.

Zinc coating is a waste of money and might brake worse.

You can get a rotor and pad kit on rockauto.com for a $100 bucks.....
I use the powerstop brand and I’ve never had an issue.....

Using Akebono pads is a good choice, but at the end of the day rotors are just hunks of steel and it really doesn't matter which rotors you use.
