Hi Scotty
The central locking mechanism operated through the key-less entry fob or through the driver side door control panel will lock all the door but will only open the driver side door. However in winter when it get below -1 degree Celsius the fob and control panel on the driver side door, lets me open all doors and lock them as well. Is this a electrical issue or is it control unit issue.
I spoke to Lexus UK and they said the key-less entry fob has to be reprogrammed, but this doesn't make sense because then they would also have to reprogram the driver side door control panel/unit.
Could you offer me any suggestions/advice please
More often it's a failure in the main control switch panel on the driver side for my experience
Hi scotty, I really need your help honestly I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP.
no one in the UK even the Lexus dealer can find the issue or sort it. I have a 2007 IS220d 70K full dealer serviced and suddenly the remote control stop working so I thought it might be the battery so I replaced the battery and still same issue, once I get into the car with the metal key the security system was activated and I couldn't start the engine however I noticed the horn/washer windscreen/windows/light switch's not working at all. Sometime everything works ok this is only for couple of hours and maybe once a week. I took the car to the dealer they replaced Battery they have done many things and no results, I've done many research's and there is no WLAN or any other connections around the car. At this stage I really don't know what else to do, sometimes all doors works absolutely fine and sometimes nothing - all fuses were checked and wiring, also weve tried with all the keys the car came with. I took the car to few locksmiths and nobody cant tell me what's going on? this is really frustrating and I'm hoping you could help me Please.
Warmest regards,
Joseph
