Can I idling the car while it is on park with parking brake on? Is it going to cause any damage?

It's pretty normal for people who park their car in an uphill position even in their driveway and in such cases one uses the parking brakes. Also, specially in cold weather it is suggested to let the car run a bit and warm up before driving and so in such cases you can just leave the car in the position it is with parking brakes engaged until it warms up. So no, no harm would happen to the car.
