Hey Scotty,
is it true that if you are parking on a slight hill you should put your car in park and before you step off the brake put the parking brake on? Does this protect the transmission? 2016 Subaru Legacy 2.5 w/CVT transmission. Thank you!

Yes, it relieves stress on the parking pawl inside the transmission.
