Hey Scotty, My 02 Honda Civic is having a problem on the right rear window. I replaced recently the switch due to having poor connection, I jump motor and it work, and I checked the fuse. One possibility is a wiring issue. I maybe missing something. I just used it today after leaving the shop and once I got home, it won’t go out. Not even the master switch wouldn’t make it go up.
Check the wiring going into the door. Other than that you need to do some basic electrical troubleshooting to find the fault.
@chucktobias Update, I move the rubber grommet that the wire pass through from the door and the window start working. So I have a broken wire somewhere in that area. Same thing at the other door but the window motor is dead so I have to replace that.
Thanks for letting us know! That's the most common cause of problems with power windows and locks due to flexing of the wires when opening and closing the doors.
