My dad is looking to buy a GMC Yukon XL. We have learned that if we did not want auto start/stop on the SUV, we have to pay $50. We were both like, "WTF." He hasn't decided, yet, but we wish there were Japanese SUV alternatives that were as big as the Yukon XL.

Have you considered Toyota Sequoia?

All you have to do to turn it off is push the A button after you start the vehicle. And it's FREE!

This is a very innovative way of increasing corporate profits for GM - put unwanted "features" in the cars, then charge extra to turn them off.
I hope other companies don't copy this.
