Changed oil on my creaking old 2008 Nissan Sentra and noticed the driver's side tire has some back and forth play.
There was no up and down play. Car has a slight vibration at highway speeds.
Didn't have time to check much further. Nothing was leaking from boots. Stabilizer links appear solid.
Anything I should zero in on when I get a chance to pull the wheel off?

control arms, bearings ... you're just going to have to feel it out.

Yes. They need to make things simpler.
I had a CV joint and lower control arm replaced a couple years ago. Probably Chinese metal failing.

Lol. Found a tie rod bolt loose. The ball joint had a lot of play. Vibration mostly gone now.
