Hello Scotty , I own a 2007 Honda Accord Ex 4cly , I have been having 2 Weird Problems.
#1 , My car will have days well it will turn on for a week smoothly no problems an then Boom it won't start , my dash lights all turn on as do my lights , theirs no clicking sound nothing when i try to turn it on . However i Turn My key to the 2 Slot put it on Neutral And it will always start . Idk how I discovered this but i did this one day it decided to do this the first time ever , How can i fix this .
Problem number 2 , Every time i turn my car early mornings , or while driving at times i can Hear weird noises under my Steering wheel / lower dash part of my car . As if something was Adjusting itself but kinda broken , Kinda wen the Cd player Is adjusting i cant seem to figure out why. Please help i am a single mom fixing my beautiful car alone with your great videos !! 😀
Sounds like the ignition/neutral safety switch is going bad. As for that noise I'm not sure.
I Actually Bought the Part Changed it an then My Car Started to act really Bad When i would use my Reverse It wouldn't Go On R not even the Light For the R will turn on
also , It would make some very hard noises wenever i would switch The Gear From D to R put the old back on an works no problem i am lost
Usually in a case like this we say....Just because it's new doesn't mean it's good.....You could try another one. I say that since there is no reason why a knew one should make it worse then the old one.
As for the dash noise. It might be a bad relay you hear. Noises are hard to diagnose. Especially a dash noise over a message. Repost your question again and let's see if we can get another person to answer. Around 4 or 5 ish there is more people online.
