Misfires, CEL, engine lost power

I have a 2012 volvo s60 t6. I recently had some issues with misfires. I replaced all plugs and coils. No problems for months. Fast forward and last week I accidentally put the car in sport mode while driving and the car reclined and immediately the cel came on. After getting the car home and replacing all plugs again and several coils I got the cel to go off and not return. Now the car feels under power and I keep getting an intermentant code p0420. Could I now have a clogged cat? Could this code be related to the coils and plugs. The car has 150k and has been maintained by me for the last 5 years very well. I cannot say before that! Please help!

Possibly. Test it with a back-pressure gauge.

Have you looked up the potential causes for that code? While bad plugs can be a factor (check them), there are other possibilities that are more likely. Troubleshooting information can be found in the links below:
