Alfa Romeo 147; 1.9 JTD diesel; 2002; manual transmission; 264 000 km.
Key won't come out of the ignition. I cannot twist the key in any direction. I tried wobbling the steering wheel; but that didn't help.
Car's been running for the past 3 hours. The key is stuck and I am not able to get it out in any way.
Please help.

For the immediate issue of not being able to turn it off you can pull the fuel pump fuse in the underhood fuse box. When the car dies, remove the negative battery cable to prevent the battery from draining.
This is probably a failed ignition lock/cylinder that will need to be replaced
