Hi Scotty.
I have a 07 Marquis that has a check engine and gas cap light on with a PO451 code. Had a recent gas tank, fuel pump, and EVAP line replacement. Car is running fine. Gas mileage ok. Notice occasional smell of raw gas fumes though. My mechanic noted no major issues with the EVAP system. Do you think it's ok to keep driving this way,? It is annoying with the check engine light constantly on. Thanks, Joe

check the seal on the fuel tank pressure sensor
Ok. Do you feel it will affect the car long term in any way besides the check engine light being on? It's annoying. Thanks.
