Hi scotty said some Pontiacs are not that bad. I'm looking for a cheap 4 door hatchback, is the Pontiac G3 4 door hatchback with 1.4liter 4 cylinder engine any good?

They're the Pontiac version of the Chevy Aveo. They're not great. Chevrolet retired the name and replaced it with the Sonic, which is also dead, if that tells you anything.
A recently made and decent all GM Pontiac is pretty much not a thing. The Pontiac Vibe was the product of a GM/Toyota partnership and is closely related to the Toyota Matrix, which itself is basically a hatchback Carrolla. Get one of those if you want a relatively reliable Pontiac from the 2000s.
Before that, you gotta go back to the 70s and 60s for good ones. My '79 Catalina started after sitting for 5 years, only took a new battery and starter fluid. It's running super rich right now but it still starts and drives.

I wanted to get a matrix but the prices are astronomical rn, and so are the Pontiac vibes. But I'll keep looking.
