Pontiac G6 Front End/Steering & Suspension Problems

I have a few questions.

1) We'll start with the power steering. I had the electronic power steering replaced by our local GM dealership due to a recall with the power steering system throwing a code and shutting down without warning. I noticed today that the power steering stops working if I'm parked (or stopped). It works fine when driving and I don't feel it binding up, but it's all I can do to turn the steering wheel while stationary. There's no codes, check engine lights, or warning messages. I replaced the intermediate steering shaft just after the steering was fixed under recall (100k miles, August 2020), so I highly doubt it could be that either. Would it do any good to complain to the dealership, as this should really last more than 9k miles? Or am I stuck figuring it out and fixing it myself?

2) The second problem I'm having is a loud pop when turning the steering wheel to the left. I can specifically feel it when turning all the way to the left, as far as it will go, letting off, and turning the steering wheel again to the left. There's play in the steering, about an inch to both sides. I've already replaced the control arms/ball joints on both sides, and the outer tie rods. I've narrowed it down the the inner tie rods, rack & pinion, or the strut bearings. Thoughts?

I would fix the pop first because that could be causing staring by needing one just sitting there pray it's that butrealize those Pontiacs are rolling piles of garbage and you don't want to put too much money into one of those things odds are the steering has some type of failure too and I doubt the fix anything free considering Pontiac is extinct as a brand
