Just saw something on the Pontiac vibe. I had no idea that it was a joint venture between Toyota and Pontiac because they shared a California factory. So my understanding is it’s a Toyota Matrix with a Pontiac badge

Yes, the only main difference is that the Vibe has a GM heater/ac unit while the Matrix has a Toyota heater/ac unit. Other than that they are basically indentical. They are great cars so long you avoid the 2.4 engine.
