My reliable 2007 RX 350 has developed an issue. Whenever I am slowly turning left (very slowly) I can hear sometimes s rubbing noise when i turn my steering wheel and then a single loud pop when the car is rolling with the turned steering wheel. While driving straight or at a speed or turning right no Noise.
what could it be . A bad CV joint or perhaps s steering column ?

Could be tons of things often the strut mounts will pop when they're worn I would check that. But of course could be control arm bushings ball joints tie rod so watch my video finding the source of car noises Scotty. Either by a device like that or have a mechanic with one check it out you can always find the source of the noise
