Hello,I have a 2003 mishubishi eclipse gt that is completely stock and has the NA 3.0 v6 with a auto transmission and almost 150000 miles on it and I'm wondering if there's possible engine swaps for it,that's all
It wouldn’t really be worth it unless you truly love the car and depending on what your trying to accomplish with it. Are you trying to keep it an automatic? Otherwise there’s a ton of modifications that would have to be done that would be very expensive
I don't mind switching it to manual,but if there's not alot of mods for it then it's alright, thought I would ask beforehand,
Okay he gave you very good advice the car is not worth much you can swap all kinds of things but it gets into an extremely large amount of work I seen guys take out the four cylinder and put in the v6s but that's about the biggest thing that normally will fit in without major mods
Any swap you do is going to cost you more than the car is worth.
If you were going to do it, I would suggest going with a 4G63 V6 from the newer Eclipse GT. But I mean it is going to take a lot of money and work.
