Hey Scotty,

Congratulations on your move! There is a similar "auto inspection tax" that exists in Missouri that doesn't apply when you move to Kansas.

I have a 2019 VW Golf R. Whenever I turn off the engine, there are a couple of electrical motor noises that I have questions about. One is from the back of the car and the other is up front. Also, when I open the driver door first thing in the morning, the motor in the rear of the car begins turning.  These are all normal to the vehicle, just different to the new (curious) driver.  What are they?

The car also has an eco, comfort, normal, & race modes that are push-button selectable. I can feel the difference in the driving characteristics between the settings, but what is going on behind the scenes?  What changes to the suspension are being made (and how does it work) when the driving mode is selected.

I'm new here. My apologies if you have already covered this in a video.

Thanks!

Dan

probably the fan up front. I've heard VWs do that. totally normal

the rear could be the fuel pump. If you can hear it that easily, then it could be on its way out.

In Fiat Uno the fan turned on or continued spinning even after the engine was turned off.
