Hi there I am from north,Canada, and recently my 2011 impreza cold start and power steering feels stiff/stuck in about 10min after cold start. Ambient temp is around 45F this season. I have replaced the PS fluid about less than one year. would it be just the ps belt or something else I should check.

Has it done this before in the winter time? if not it could need a fluid change and flush. it may be just going out and you may need to rebuild or get a new one but its a 2011 its only 9 years old. but before you do any of that try seeing if your power steering pump is okay and if its a cold related issue with the fluid.
Summer time was normal, and I don't remember this happened in winter before recent PS fluid change. I will try flush the fluid again with better brand atf
On my Genesis my power steering pump was going out. it was stiff and also making noise. when you turn the wheel and if your engine bogs down and it sounds like something's grinding. It will be your power steering pump Going out. But always check the fluid first before diving in further.
