Hi. I have a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser and the owners manual calls for dexron 2 or dexron 3 atf for the power steering fluid. Just wondering if I should use conventional or synthetic? I’ve had 2 different Toyota mechanics tell me not to use synthetic. Also another Toyota mechanic on YouTube says not to use atf at all. He said to use actual power steering fluid 🤯

just use the cheapest dexron you see at the store (and they're backwards compatible so VI is fine.)
