Hi Scotty,
I have a 2010 Chevy Malibu and recently my A/C / Heater blower will not shut off when I turn off my car. At first, I disconnected the battery to shut it off which worked. Now, I pulled the "Run relay, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning Blower" from the fuse box and it was able to shut off now. I've read it could either be a bad relay or a bad blower motor resistor. What do you think is the most likely issue before I spend money on both parts?
blower will not shut off when I turn off my car
on any speed?
bad blower motor resistor.
I doubt it
What do you think is the most likely issue
Start with the relay
@mountainmanjoe not sure if I’m suppose to tag you so you can see my reply, but i got a new relay, and it seems like the old relay was still good. I then went and got a new blower motor resistor, and the new one didn’t turn on that blower at all.
Is your climate control automatic or manual?

It looks like it is automatic
Check Fuse 19 (30 amp) ((Run relay fuse)) in the Underhood Fuse Box
.
Check the HVAC CTRL (IGN) Fuse and the HVAC Blower High Fuse on the BCM in the Passenger Compartment Fuse Box
