When trying to order hose it ask me if the car is conventional system or hydro system how can i tell what system it has for the power steering?
electric steering wouldn't have hydraulic hoses.
Its not electric steering , it asking what system it has conventional or hydroboost system it takes power steering fluid
hydro=hydraulic. If your hose isn't for hydraulic steering fluid, then what would it be for?
So whats a conventional pressure system hose, both look the same on the stores web site or would both hoses would work conventional is $77 hydroboost is $130
ok so that refers to the brake system. Not PS.

Thank you so much , you the man!
Hydro boost refers to the type of brake booster you have. GM uses a conventional brake booster which runs off of engine vacuum. And a hydro boost brake system which uses the powersteering pump to provide the brake assist. Look up images of a conventional brake booster vs hydroboost and check your car.
I didn’t think they still used vacuum assist in 2006
I really thank you 2 so much ...
