Seeing as you are from Houston I am looking for a reputable shop to have my vehicle towed to. It's a 2012 Murano SL AWD with 125k. Most of the damage isn't too bad but the steering wheel airbag deployed and I am dealing with the dreaded transmission starting to fail. If you drive over 70 for a length of time it slips and revs very high. I'm hoping that as a silver lining maybe the transmission could be replaced in the claim. If you have any good recommendations for a body shop/mechanic that can help me get back on the road. Any input is appreciated. I know you aren't a Nissan fan but the only fault the vehicle has is a worn transmission. Otherwise I love this vehicle.
Well I'm in Tennessee now and unfortunately the good body man that I know are all gone in Houston they retired and stopped fixing them. I used to use downtown Auto body off the southwest freeway but I can't say whether they're doing good work orr not anymore
