Well we don't really use the same nomenclature here. It's just basically Priuses some of them are just a simple hybrid some are plug-in hybrids where you can plug them in and recharge the battery you just find which kind you have and you'll know what you have. Most are not plug in hybrid

Can you share links on what a Prius type A, type B, and type C are? Or links to pictures of each of them?

Any chance you know what country they are imported from?

Prius Ɑ (Alpha) Japan = Prius V = Prius + (plus, Europe)

Prius C (city) = Toyota Aqua (Japan) - discontinued

I've never heard of a Prius 'B'

I'm also not familiar with the naming scheme you are talking about - feel free to share more info about it.

The Prius Hybrid and Prius Prime share a lot of parts similar Lithium-ion battery design, eCVT technology, and are based on Toyota's new platform and share a lot of parts.

But, the Prius Plus is based on Toyota's older platform (the same as the E150 Corolla) - This variant has been popular on the Japanese domestic market and I personally think it's the better value in the lineup.

The thing I'd avoid is the eAWD system.

Although the Toyota Prius tends to be a great car - Realize that when you are buying a Hybrid, Almost any failure of the extremely complex hybrid drivetrain can more than often fully offset any potential fuel savings especially if there's a parts supply issue.
