Hey scotty love the vids, I have a real head scratcher here, I have a 93 honda civic dx standard and it's been losing coolant and I can't seem to figure out the problem, we pressure checked the radiator didn't lose pressure when cold but it would lose pressure when it warmed up, we tested it again after the cold test, so after that we took the spark plugs out and did another pressure test to see if coolant would come out of the cylinders but it was completely dry, another head scratcher, when it's cold It starts up everytime but when I drive to operating temperature and shut it off and 15 20 minutes go by, it will still start but it turns over 15 20 times before he starts up (other times it's better) but it struggles to keep rpms but it fixes it self after a minute or so but I think that's When I lose most of my coolant, for example I got gas and tried to start it up but it was doing it's thing and what's surprising is not even 5 minutes (it doesn't usually do it that soon) but anyways it started struggling to start and keep rpms but anyways during some of those turn overs a thick cloud from right side of the hood came out when In tandem the engine started to actually run and there was some coolant on the ground and yes it started over heating when I got back on the road, I had to turn the heat on and baby it home anyways that was the first time I seen that happen from the hood oh and the exhaust is thick white smoke but after operation temperature there's hardly any exhaust, what the hell is wrong with this damn honda, plz make a vid on this it would make great content thanks scotty
Apologies for any annoying grammar
Sometimes a head gasket will leak when hot and not when cold. " it would lose pressure when it warmed up" sure sounds like a leak to me.
