Hey Scotty if I was ever to buy a 1988 all the way to a 98 Chevy or GMC CK pickup truck as a project from a salvage yard what are the pros and cons and what to look out for worth of me buying a pickup truck as a project to make it into my daily driver?

I don't think that a daily driver is something that you need to sink endless money and time into.

I would never advise trying to turn a project into a daily. It would be cheaper for you to buy a new truck than try to make a salvage truck reliable enough for daily duty.
