Not really a question, more of a public service announcement.
When looking for parts online, make sure you are buying the legitimate parts. "Fake" or off brand companies will try to make them selves look and sound like the genuine part.
One prime example I almost fell for was Aisin (genuine) vs. Aisan (off brand). Everything looked the same, down to the font of the logo.
That is something that you have to be really careful about. Sometimes a fake part actually will have the correct spelling. That is one of the reasons why I don't really like buying parts online. If you are going to buy parts online you are a lot less likely to run into this issue with a dedicated parts website like Rock Auto, 1Aauto, or Car Part Kings than you are with sites like Amazon and eBay.

I think you're most likely to find dodgy parts on open market places like eBay and Amazon. Dedicated auto part dealers are going to make damn sure their goods aren't fake if they want to stay in business.
Another reason I don’t like to buy high dollar parts on Amazon including super expensive electronics modules (including scan tools).
By the way.
Aisin has some products made in China.
