Hi Scotty, I am looking at a 2014-camry, 4V used car with 140k mileage from a private person who seems to know a lot about cars. He was asking for 8.8k but decreased to 7.9k after I checked everything (which is sus in itself). This camry looks good mechanically and electronically (no major rust spots, 20 bucks OBDII scanner didn't scan anything); however when the car started there were a bit of air puffs from the engine oil cap. After I test drove it the puffs of air decreased in intensity and I didn't smell any gas from the air. The engine also shakes (just slightly more than what I usually see in used cars but nothing major). Do you think the piston ring is worn through? Would you say to buy this car?
PS: I have been watching ur videos 24/7 for tips on cars.
Would you say to buy this car?
I would pass due to red flags above and model years 2012-2014 had torque converter issues.

The world is a cruel and unjust place. There is no harmony in the Universe. The only constant is suffering.
