I was looking to purchase a new car from a dealership what do you think about the Mazda 3 hatchback awd as opposed to a Honda Civic sport with a CVT transmission,which would be the better buy I drive 100 miles a day round trip?
Just looking for a reliable vehicle my Corolla from 2007 has over 400,000 miles on it.
Which year(s) Mazda3 hatchback?

I would personally go with the Mazda3 hatchback only because it has a typical automatic transmission. I'm not a big fan of any CVT transmission: they become more problematic than automatics and they feel "sluggish" by design. Mazda's quality has also been improving greatly after their partnership with Toyota.
