Treat? Or Replace? Headlight lenses 2007 Lexus ES350

They aren't terrible, but somewhat yellowed. Is there a treatment that works? Of is replacement the best idea? (Or maybe better yet - just ignore the issue - the lights work. They just look less Lexussy than I'd like.

I would try to treat them first with a polish and sealant kit. If that doesn't help, or if it eventually yellows again, then I would go ahead and replace them.

I wouldn't ignore the issue...it affects visibility at night.

OK. The concensus is to try treating them first. Watching a variety of videos, I'm going to try with the 3M kit, some masking tape and my drill. Then coat with Plastix.

It’ll just get yellow/cloudy again after a few months. It’s not a fix, just a stop gap.

Just buy aftermarket assemblies, if you want a permanent fix (until those turn yellow after 10yrs..)

Now, if you want to pinch pennies & you’re feeling adventurous, buy just the clear plastic lenses and glue them on to the headlamp housing, after separating the old oxidised lens.

The easiest & surest way is to buy new, aftermarket assemblies.
