Hi Scotty about a 2020 Silverado 3500 I took it to the dealer because at 13,000 miles it gave me a check engine light dealer said at first that it was dirty fuel filter But I replaced it and 9000 miles. They flushed out all the fuel lines and tech-support told the technician to change the fuel filter and have me drive the truck to empty all the diesel and fill it up with diesel to see if that work.it didn’t do anything they charge me $500 while on warranty and the light came came on again then I took it to a different dealer and they replace all the injectors and they said that they also replace the map sensor.   After driving the truck for 3000 miles the check engine light came on again this time it was different codes I never lose power I don’t feel the truck loses power I just feel that-ish it it has a rough idle at times but the truck still runs fine. I am pass the 36,000 mile warranty I only have 100,000 mile warranty on the powertrain do you know or have you heard of this type of problem with the new Duramax I’m running up the miles pretty quick because I am a hot shot car hauler I put about 4000 miles a week. It was hard to pick a truck out for this type of business I don’t trust ram that much and Ford I’ve heard a lot of bad stories about I always been a GM fan regardless of the fact that their product is not what it used to be. I am sorry for the grammar

Well as you are finding out Jim doesn't make them like they used to but neither does ram or Ford but I would have bought a Ford if I were you not a GM

Unfortunately, the 2020 Silverado 3500 HD was the first model year of the 3500 HD for this new Silverado generation so there will invariably be issues/bugs to iron out in the first few years.  This is why Scotty and us usually recommend to get a model several years old that already has a history and that we already know how it has held up.

First year bugs. Unfortunately those trucks haven't  been around long enough for anyone to truly be familiar with common problems. Sorry you are having to go through it though.
