Call me Unhappy.
After replacing blown head gasket, dropped oil pan and found a "slightly mangled - on one end" Thrust washer. Is it feasible to "just" pull the cam shaft and have it checked, replace the thrush washers, AND what else? Block milled? Main caps replaced?

Block milling (basically complete overhaul) is probably beyond what most people would be willing to invest into a 30yo F150.

Not sure what you're hoping to come back for. Thrust washers don't just fall out. You have a high mileage worn out engine.
You don't just tear down an engine and replace a bearing. It has to be overhauled which is a big expensive job. If you're lucky you might find a used engine with low miles you can drop in , but beware of common issues with this engine (stripped heads and cracked intakes). But if you're not doing the work yourself, installation will be expensive.
