😀 Hi Scotty, Ive been following your great videos from here in Taiwan. I'm about to make my first new car purchase and I've got a few cars in mind. The new Corolla Cross and Sienta Cross Suzuki vitara 1.4 turbo and Mazda cx-30. I am aware the new Corolla cross has the new dynamic engine and thought id ask your opinion on which would be the wiser option in terms of reliability. Both of the Toyota cars are assembled here in Taiwan. Thanks for any advise or any other car option you may suggest. Keep up the great work!

I’d go with the Toyota Corolla Cross. Even though it is a new design, it’s based on the time tested Corolla. Out of the 4, this would be my top choice. Heck, if they sold this SUV here in the US, I’d be on it. Alas, I don’t think it’s going to make it to this market. So your lucky you have the choice.

The Sienta isn’t a bad choice either. It’s based on the Yaris/Vitz platform.  Depending on your space requirements, this might be a better choice, since it is a slightly smaller car.

The Mazda CX-30 isn’t a bad choice either but I do prefer the Corolla Cross or Sienta just slightly

I’m intrigued with the Suzuki.  If it came with a naturally aspirated engine, I’d give it a harder look.  We don’t have Suzuki anymore in the US. If kinda wish we did.  I’d actually get the Suzuki version of the RAV4.  I like the styling a little bit better than the Toyota version.
