Hi Scotty,I need a scan tool up to $300.I got the Bluedriver which is ok but I’m not quite satisfied due to communication issues.I would like to get a better one. What is your 2021 recommendation? Thank you very much

What is the issue exactly?

It can not connect with certain cars like 2015 Nissan Xterra, Subaru Forester,but it works just fine with Hondas, Toyota, Ford among others. The device has been updated but again the issue is still there. Wish I had Scottys fancy scanner.. :)Thanks for your response

Check their website to make sure your vehicle is supported before you buy.

I personally use the Autel MX808 which also scans every computer module on the car.  That one is a tablet and costs $400.

This Innova- 5610 is a great choice, but I think the one you’re using it has the whole package.. thank you very much for your help

@Roy Heins

link to tool (Autel MX808): https://www.autel.com/mk2/3223.jhtml

If you do buy the Autel MX808, I strongly recommend you buy from one of the company’s authorized dealers if you care about support, service, and warranty, and to make sure you don’t get scammed.
Amazon is NOT an authorized dealer.

One place I recommend buying MX808 from is aeswave.com; they are an authorized Autel dealer that I bought my tool from:

Thanks a lot

You are welcome. That tool might be pricey but it is a great investment esp. if you get involved with your cars.

Thanks for the recommendation Dan, I’ve ordered the Autel MX-808

Autel has some excellent scan tools that fall within your budget. I would take a look at them.

I will definitely check them out, thank you
