I have a 2011 Infiniti G25 with 34,422 miles that the engine light came on. When I checked it with Blue Driver, the code it gave me was; P050E "Cold Start Engine Exhaust Temperature Too Low". The car has been starting and running fine.
Searching online I am not really finding much information and what I do find is different, for example one site will have it means; Lack of intake air volume, Faulty Fuel injection system and then another site will have; Ambient air temperature sensor failure, Exhaust temperature sensor failure and Internal engine failure.
I was wondering if anyone else had run into this same issue and what was their fix?
Thanks for the comments. I did take it to the dealer and after checking it out they said it needed an ecm reprogram.
Most commonly on a Nissan /Infiniti it is the exhaust gas temp sensor failure and sometimes an ecm reprogram
