Need struts for 25-year-old Infiniti

My 1999 Q45t has a bad left front strut. Infiniti and aftermarket part sources no longer source this or any of the other struts/shocks.

The only solution I have found is to use racing shop gas shocks with coil-overs that are adjustable but at max height lower the car at least one inch. To accomplish this a spindle must be welded into the base for the shock to sit on. The parts and labor split the $2,000.00 bill equally.

I could send the cylinder out to be rebuilt which Costs about $300.00 each but disables the car in the interim.

I bought this car for my late father in 2002, have kept it in shape and am intent on keeping it; it only has 87,000 miles on it.

Can you help me?

I searched on car-part.com and got some possibilities. If you can find some decent used ones there, you could put them on and then send your OEM ones out for rebuild, keep for spares.
