Hey Scotty, I’m in the market for a coupe with a manual transmission. I’ve narrowed it down to two vehicles 2018 - 2022 Mustang GT or an Infinity Q60 Red Sport 400. Which is more reliable and cheaper to maintain? Thanks Scotty! I’m a big fan!
Neither is the best choice. The Infiniti will give you problems in the long run and the Mustang's transmission is made in China.
The Mustang is cheaper, all an Infiniti is, is an upscaled Nissan, which is more expensive, because they can. I second that manual transmission is made in China, and given the track record of newer Mustangs (I have a 2017 V6, the purge valve isn't much for Ford quality. I replaced that valve around 2 years ago with the same OEM part, and it actsing up again. My Ford Ranger has 293,000 miles on it and I've never seen the check engine light come on, and I bought it at 251k miles. It still works, too. Ford quality has gone massively downhill.
