Hello again Scotty! Just a curiosity, what are your experience with Mercedes 7 speed automatic transmissions (7G tronic)? And also nissan is now using german trans in their cars, (2020+ Frontier using mercedes 9G tronic and upcoming 2022 pathfinder using the ZF-9 speed transaxle). What’s your view on that? Personally I think there are better transmissions in the market to use than these two but it’s a good start for reliability for ditching CVT’s.

I think most would agree ZF makes better transmission than JATCO, not sure about Benz though but really anything is an improvement to a Jatco CVT
