Hi Scotty, I am a big fan and watch your video's daily. I have a 2013 Nissan Titan SV with 130,000 miles. I recently bought new TPMS from eBay and had them put on. I was advised they weren't able to program them because they did not have a universal program. Do you know if there is a way to reset it and have the tire pressure light turned off?
George Lopez from Houston Texas.
Unfortunately tire pressures though a nuisance are safety and cannot be turned off.. I personally have never had any luck with any non oem tpms sensors. I’ve tried programming them. Some I’ve heard of just need to be driven to program but I’ve never used them before
Hmm... looks like yours in a difficult one. Here is the procedure and it looks like you will need to by the Ateq tool to get the job done. Good luck!
Put a piece of black tape over the TPMS light.
