Hello Scotty, I have a 1997 Volkswagen Golf Trek with 149k miles automatic transmission and it has an over heating problem I changed the temperature sensor, relay, coolant, and thermostat but no help there. Tested relays, wires and the cooling fans and they all work. I noticed some hose's do get hot what can it be? Thanks!

How about a new radiator cap?

Check the temperature of different parts of the radiator as well as the hoses:
