hi, I have a 2008 Infiniti QX56 with 93000 miles. My gas gauge works until it reaches a little above 1/4 of a tank of fuel. I ran out of gas at that point.
My mechanic replaced the fuel pump. It happened again so he replaced it a 2nd time. Again, I ran out of gas.
I then took it to an Infiniti dealer. I was told the pump was not positioned properly and that the "arm" was getting hung up on the plastic basket it is installed in. We'll once again I ran out of gas around the 1/4 mark.
I have spent about $1000 on this so far. Any ideas? I need help! Thank you
