I'm looking at a 2012 Mazda 6, 2.5L I4, 5 speed auto with 63000 miles on it. Are they good cars or should I avoid it?

It's a Ford Fusion, has nothing to do with new Mazdas.
The engine is very solid, the transmission is bellow average - because of its low millage, it probably has another 60k-90k miles left in it.
Check the steering system, it's quite reliable but when something goes wrong it's hard to find someone who knows how to overhaul it. Check the suspension, it's not particularly troublesome but it tends to get expensive when it needs repair.
Just don't overpay for it, they're reasonable but not great.
